HZD: The Frozen Wilds [Eyes and Hands]

Scroll down to content

This week’s theme is eyes and hands! These are the challenges for Days 20 and 26 of the gametography 30 day challenge, and I am skipping ahead a bit to get in the hands day! lol

So for each theme I basically used Aloy as my model, obviously! haha, and used various poses and outfits and took the picture as close as I could get in the photomode. Then using VSCO I cropped down the images to focus on either the eyes or the hands. I’m not saying that these are very original, I saw so many good ideas from others via Twitter, but I was kinda proud of these as I never really do stuff like this and usually when I take a landscape picture I widen the frame as much as I can, so this really was the opposite of what I usually do!

Below I have eight pairs. The original picture and then the cropped, edited image I used for the challenge. I need to practice more with cropping images I think…

EYES: I tried to convey a different emotion in each, and used different outfits to get different masks and tried to get different lighting…

Hands: so again, took a picture and then cropped. I just had to get in a picture with the bow!
