So, not too many pictures this post – I have been SO busy this last couple of weeks I really have not had time to do much gaming. But since I finished God of War I wanted to play a game that I had in my backlog for a little while and after a Twitter poll of a choice of three games; Batman: Arkham Knight, Tomb Raider (Definitive Ed.) and Mad Max, I decided to start Batman. Batman and Tomb Raider actually tied with the same number of votes, so I did actually have to make the final decision!
Now, I played the first Batman game and I remember really enjoying it. At that point, and this was a little while ago when I had my Xbox 360, I just played the game and wasn’t taking virtual pictures. Arkham Knight has the addition of photomode.
But I have to say that this is THE most annoying photomode I think I have experienced so far (even worse than INFAMOUS second son). It is so restrictive in terms of moving the camera around – the options for depth of field and filters etc are actually not too bad – I’m just getting really frustrated with it. Trying to take a picture and not being able to get the angle I want is tiring after a while. Cannot do anything about it unfortunately, it is just something that I have to get used to and use some tricks to get the pictures that I want to get.
Saying this, I actually really like taking panoramic pictures, it’s at least easy to do that, and Gotham is a great city to do that with, again kinda reminds me of INFAMOUS second son with all the neon. (I love neon.)
Game wise…as usual I haven’t actually gotten too far into the actual game, most of my time has been spent on just walking around taking pictures, however at the moment I am liking it.
So yeah, that’s about it at the moment. Otherwise, I am working on some blog posts which I hope to start doing each Sunday and have Wednesday as the gametography posts. I changed the layout of my site, in-case you did not notice (haha) so I feel it looks a bit more organised; separating the gametography posts and the blog posts into different tabs and having a main landing page.
