Sea of Thieves had an update come out recently – Cursed Sails and this has come after the Hungering Deep update where you had to fight a massive scary shark. For this one though, you have to fight cursed pirate ships, with skeleton crews, that use cursed cannon balls to try and sink you.
I enjoy Sea of Thieves, I know it gets a bit of flack for not having enough content, but I honestly don’t really understand that. You get to be a frickin’ pirate and that’s good enough for me and these couple of added content updates have been really fun. I would admit that it is a better game when you play with other people though, either people who are your mates or people who you meet randomly in the game, although there is a high chance that their allegiance to you will swiftly become nonexistent once you start handing over the treasure to collect the money…
Unfortunately, it is a game that I don’t play as often as I should, but this last weekend I played many hours worth, with a crew, and took lots of pictures on our journey…LOOK at how pretty this game actually is! The sunsets alone are stunning. It needs more recognition for this. And the actual update is really fun; trying to repair the ship after you have been hit by a cursed cannonball is really hard when you are throwing up all over the place, and over crew mates – obviously. Even if I’m just on my own, I’ve decided I need to start playing this game more.
